Alexa Winter

I am a recent graduate from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a B.F.A. in Art and Design, concentrated in Graphic Design. Growing up in Boulder, Colorado, I became heavily immersed in art and design from an early age. Through studio art classes and various exhibitions in high school, I developed a strong foundation in traditional mediums before transitioning from the Rocky Mountains to the Central Coast, where I shifted my focus toward digital design.

I grew fascinated by how influential design can be in the way we connect with each other and our surrounding spaces. I believe that good design leads to impactful experiences, which is why every project I approach is with intention and empathy, allowing character to emerge in a way that resonates. My current interests lie in identity and advertising, and I find value in collaboration, as it brings diverse perspectives and meaningful ideas into the design process.

Essentially, I find inspiration in what is circulating around me. Whether I find that through travel, social interactions, current events, or outdoor endeavors (such as skiing and surfing), these experiences shape my playful and curious personal identity and approach to design.
